Make money online with YOUR Pictures!!!!!!!

The world is now a global village.

If you refuse to believe this often used saying, look no further than that digital camera you reserve for special occasions only. A lot of us like taking pictures and do not hesitate to use this tool to store memories or incidences. More often than not, a lot of tools we possess are underutilised thus limiting the great advantages we can get from them. A good example is the camera (digitised version) which due to the global nature enabled by the internet, can be used to also earn a decent income.

How? I can hear you asking. A friend recently shared with me how he makes a decent income online by taking photographs and renting or selling them online at a decent price.

Websites where you can learn how to do so with your camera are:
A useful site to calculate the price you would sell your picture is
The business of earning income from photography this way is highly attached to stock photography, described on wikipedia[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stock_photography]] as:
"..............consists of existing photographs that can be licensed for specific uses. Book publishers, specialty publishers, magazines, advertising agencies, filmmakers, web designers, graphic artists, interior decor firms, corporate creative groups, and others use stock photography to fulfill the needs of their creative assignments.
A customer who uses stock photography instead of hiring a photographer can save time and money, but can also sacrifice creative control. Stock images can be presented in searchable online databases, purchased online, and delivered via
download or email.
A collection of stock photography may also be called a photo archive, picture library, image bank or photo bank. As modern stock photography distributors often carry stills, video, and illustrations, none of the existing terminology provides a perfect
match."
Now dont go thinking your camera phone with a 3.2 megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss lens will turn you to an ace photographer a la T.Y. Bello or Sunmi Smart Cole....it won't! The minimum spec you will need to get will be a SLR type camera. Read on an excerpt from http://www.getrichslowly.org/:
"Many online stock sites now have minimum requirements for files they will accept. Generally speaking, the baseline where you want to start is a 5mp camera. A digital SLR camera, one that you can change lenses on, is much more desirable as they produce better quality images. More megapixels doesn’t always mean better images; the quality of the sensor has a lot to do with it"
Digital wealth creation at its best......keep at it.....soon enough....we'll all be sitting home....who'll go to the office?
